v2.16.0

What's changed

This integration will be (finally!) deprecated in the coming months. Please first try to use the Overkiz integration from core, as this integration hasn't been updated for years. This small change should add support for Home Assistant 2024.11.0. Please note that this fix hasn't been tested thoroughly and won't be supported officially.

If you still need functionality that is only supported in this custom component, make sure that your feature request / bug is noted on the Home Assistant core repository.

TLDR: move to Overkiz integration in Home Assistant core

What's changed

This small maintenance release fixes an error after a breaking change in 2023.5.0. If your devices are supported in the core integration, best is to move!

If you devices are not supported yet, you can create an issue on https://github.com/home-assistant/core/issues. Please first check if there is already an issue for your device, if not create a new issues and include your diagnostics log of the NEW Overkiz integration in core and mention what you miss compared to the custom component.

v2.13.0

What's changed

A huge update this time, since we are working on backporting all our improvements from core to the custom component. Please know that small bugs can happen, especially in such a big update. Don't update (yet) if you don't want to test the latest and greatest.

Please see #697 for an estimation when functionality will be in core. If you don't use climate, alarm control panel or water heater, you can already migrate to Overkiz in core.

As usual, let us know if you face bugs or if you have feedback via GitHub issues.

⚠️ Breaking changes

  • Reintroduce low speed feature as separate cover (#763) @tetienne
  • Removal of low speed service and low speed switch
  • Stateless alarm control panel and climate have been moved to a switch entity
