In the past we have merged PRs that broke older TFMs. I've fixed them few times: #2727, #2235 but IMO it would be better to just prevent this from happening.
In this PR I am adding a new CI leg that is going to build the project for 3.1, 6.0 and 7.0 and run very few benchmarks (form LINQ category, as it works on every runtime). I've used the ubuntu pool as startup time is the best on Linux
