Concept

  • Points change to tickets ⇒ each ticket is an entry in the random draw
  • No rewards tiers
    – X number of guaranteed prizes per week (1 prize per user max)
  • Add jackpot to make more interesting. Jackpot increases each week it doesn't go off (unclaimed prizes added to jackpot?)

Changes required (non-exhaustive)

  • Update API to merge rewards tiers
  • Script to distribute prizes based on tickets
  • Script to draw jackpot (was thinking one draw to see if jackpot can be won and if true another draw for the winner)
  • Automate prize distribution process
  • Data to show past winners and their prizes for result ui
  • Update redemption to handle nothing in the chest?
  • Reset to season 1
