sh.cd does not work anymore, as it does not persist between lines. This is cleaner, as we now always know what directory we're in.
Nose v1 is deprecated, use Pytest instead.
Since Python 3.3, unittest.mock has been part of the standard library

This PR cleans up all the tests so they pass under Python 3.
To ensure all future changes don't break things, this also runs the tests in GitHub Actions.
Whilst in there, I've cleaned up the
svntests to look more like the other tests.
