To manually set the NVM installation path you need to pass the required InstallationPath to the choco install command, e.g.:

choco install nvm --params "/InstallationPath=""c:\nvm"""

The reminder didn't worked :(
I'll wait that the nvm package will update - and then test and merge this one :)

And sorry for the long time, I don't remember getting a notification about this - thanks!
