[1.0] Introduction

This page will be updated when issues are found.

[2.0] Live Camera Plugin

[2.1] Before anything else

[2.1.1] Have you installed the plugin?

Regardless of whether you are running DCS locally or connecting to a server/different device, the plugin must be installed on the client - i.e. the machine where Olympus is being used.

[2.1.2] Check your browser

We've tested it on Chrome, Firefox and Edge. If you are having issues, ensure you have the latest version and/or try a different browser.

[2.1.3] Use incognito mode or disable extensions/plugins

Some browser extensions can have unexpected effects. If you are experiencing issues, try disabling all extensions. Usually, the quickest way to do this is to open a private/incognito window.

[2.2] When connecting locally (via http://localhost)

There are no known issues at this time.

[2.3] When connecting remotely

[2.3.1] Use HTTPS, which is required for Chrome

If you are unable to use the camera plugin when connecting to a remote server/different device, ensure that device is hosting via HTTPS. The system administrator for that server should ensure this is happening.

[3.0] DCS Maps

[3.1] Disclaimer

The DCS Olympus team is hosting the maps. We provide absolutely no warranty for all and any availability, performance and/or representation. If it's not working for you, use a different mode.

[3.2] Self-hosting

We're planning on providing this at a later date.
