Thanks for that! I think it might be better as a wiki page though, so that other people can edit it if they want (I don't use Ubuntu, so have no idea if the instructions end up being stale, or which versions of Ubuntu this would work on). p.s. using the -v flag is useful for development, but not good when you use it for real. The console logging is a blocking operation so it slows everything down quite significantly. |

Isn't $HOME already a predefined environment variable on Ubuntu?

Yeah $HOME is predefined environment variable, but still it's always safer to redefine all the variables, in order to avoid any discrepancy..

I have tested the script on ubuntu versions 12.04 and 14.04. I think the scripts would work fine for ubuntu versions >= 12.04 and thanks for the info, I'll remove -v from OmniSharp execution. |
