Just a minor issue:
IMHO, AreaChart is not ideal for visualizing categories: the connecting lines suggest that there are valid interpolated citation values between two alphabetically adjacent Wikipedias.
BarChart would feel more correct to me,

that's a very good point. I didn't manage to get the look & feel of a bar chart right and that's why I opted for AreaChart but I agree that delivers the wrong message.
I'll try and see if I can use BarChart and fix the layout, thanks for the feedback.
