After reaching infinite Plops (capped at Number.MAX_VALUE to not break the game, compare #37 ) a new sacrifice layer should be enabled. This issue shall define the functionality of the new sacrifice layer. Current premise: sacrificing with infinite plops gains one "infinity plop"

Some questions to find answers for:

  • Which new features/boosts shall be unlocked by sacrificing?
    • eg. automatic sacrifice
  • Some kind of tree with upgrades to purchase with infinity plops?
  • Which main game content shall be reset by an infinity sacrifice, which content is kept?
    • eg. the sacrifice boost from the main game is reset but the building slots from the Beer Factories stay equipped to keep the automation
  • How shall the infinity sacrifice integrate into the current sacrifice process?

May I suggest the notation "\aleph_n plops"?

  • Which new features/boosts shall be unlocked by sacrificing?

I'd suggest none that improve gameplay, otherwise you'll just keep playing faster and faster each round. Maybe some automatically generated new upgrade paths for the Beer Factories? Or something silly like the ability to change the style of the beer glass in the main game view?

  • Some kind of tree with upgrades to purchase with infinity plops?
  • Which main game content shall be reset by an infinity sacrifice, which content is kept?

Everything that plops can buy you. Once your plops go infinite, so does everything else, e.g. mana, research projects, clonings etc. I'd suggest to keep only Beer Factories and your Automated Bar since you can't (yet) influence them with plops. Scrap everything else.

  • eg. the sacrifice boost from the main game is reset but the building slots from the Beer Factories stay equipped to keep the automation
  • How shall the infinity sacrifice integrate into the current sacrifice process?

First of all i think, bevor unlocking some New Content, you should keep some old Stuff. So first Sacrifice should unlock Autobuyers forever, secound LEvel Up, third Upgrade Autobuyer, fourth Cloning. So every Run gets a little bit faster because you have unlock an Holy Upgrade by start. Fifth maybe is an 15% permanent boost on Beermates gain. Later on Beerwarts Autobuyer, Research Autostarter...
