Notes:

Rod provided updates on the following:

  • UXL Foundation’s one-year anniversary has been announced in several channels, including blogs authored by Rod, Intel, and the newsletter.
  • Registration for the oneAPI DevSummit is underway. SC members were encouraged to promote it within their organizations.
  • The General UXL Foundation Member meeting is being postponed until November (dates to be determined).
  • Rod is looking into a possible F2F meeting at SC24. SC members are requested to advise him if they plan to attend the conference.
  • There was a report on ongoing items, including progress on the Autoware demo, migration of the oneAPI construction kit, and 2025 budget and goals.

GE Healthcare presentation:

Evgeny and Chris presented an overview of GE Healthcare, which has benefited from the portability of OpenCL to provide heterogeneous solutions to accelerate image reconstruction and post processing for several modalities like X Ray, CT, MR, PET, etc. Rod will follow up on how GE can maximize collaboration and participation within the foundation.
