The pomodoro.ugolandini.com site seems to be just blog entries in all of my browsers (Firefox, Safari, Chrome) and its missing download links, help tips, etc. It looks ok in the wayback machine as of 7/15/11:

@ugol Indeed.

The original problem was a trademark issue with the name pomodoro and the logo. That caused @ugol to pull it.
@ugol, do you want to share the original HTML with us? We could put it on the wiki at least.

Also if all it takes is swapping out the tomato timer icon to get this app back in the app store, it'd be worthwhile. I think it's a great app and nondevelopers should be able to benefit from it too!

I can volunteer to craft a new icon - is there anything else that would need to be done for App Store approval? @ugol would you still be interested in publishing it using your developer account?

A simple site for the app could easily be added in Github pages.

It does not have to be in the App Store. You can always just publish binary on the website.

Very true! It would still need to be signed by someone though to be accepted by default Gatekeeper settings. In any case, I wouldn't want to do that until we know it won't violate any licenses/trademarks/laws.

You can still download the original app from 2010 on softpedia

Other than some bizarre default settings it still works fine once I set it up
