Ensembling decoupled models

I have a usecase where it is desirable to get results of a model in the middle of pipeline before pipeline finishes its execution.

The idea was that using decoupled models I can achieve such scenario. But after building short toy solution and browsing internet it seems like ensemble of decoupled models is not really achievable.

Perhaps I am missing an understanding of some core concepts there. Please help me figure out if desirable scenario is achievable overall and if I can achieve it by ensemble of decoupled models.
