What opensource projects do you make? that is a good question!
80% of my opensource code is code that accompanies videos describing complex topics, These are usually small one off repos.
20% of my opensource code is split between two projects, A Database we are building from the ground up part by part in an educational youtube series, and a workload orchestration system (code named gary) that will eventually deprecate kubernetes for sure. super disruptive.
What will your funding go towards? Paying @s1ntaxe770r on a more continuous bases to help me expand the opensource contributions we are able to make and continue our educational content.
This will cover the majority of the costs I incur making educational youtube content. Yes, I pay for a few tools that make making videos a bit easier (Adobe), some hosting and every once in a while I buy some stuff to help me make a video. yeah. i'm looking at you raspberry pi's.
