Hey there!

My name is Morten Nielsen and I'm a software developer who builds both for work and as a hobby. I've been a Microsoft MVP since 2011, and a lot of that is thanks to my contributions to open source projects around .NET development. I believe strongly in the power of open source, and my open source projects were a big part of getting the job I currently hold. I continue to love sharing the work that I do with the community.

One of my passions is building class libraries, and I take great pride in designing APIs that are easy for other developers to use. I share almost everything I build on GitHub and make it available on nuget.org for other .NET developers. I also contribute to many other repositories through pull requests, code reviews, and discussions, including Windows Community Toolkit, WinUI, Xamarin.Forms and .NET MAUI. I spend a significant amount of my free time on these activities.
