USB NES joysticks

This project is great, I was long looking for something like
this, only most of my UEFI boxes don't have
PS/2 connector anymore but code runs
and the boot screen looks good.

there are new NES USB joysticks available cheap,
looks like the old ones

I have this and know the key codes, so I can tell what
keycodes it sends to USB and normally I can plug and
check if they work.

I'd like to encourage USB support if it's not too difficult to code.
Of course support for USB KBD would be fine too :)
