Well, the glyphs are off-center after patching because this is how the 'normal' Nerd Font works. So centered in the "cell" are only Regarding the Fontforge messages on generation: All the warnings you get can be safely ignored. There is no uncommon one. Usual usecases are not affected by these font defects. |

So I downloaded the Mononoki original font (not the archived nerd font version), because I wanted to patch it with all of the font sets available in font-patcher. The old patched font is missing a ton of glyphs.
I then ran the above command, and everything did process correctly. However, when I opened in fontforge GUI, almost all of the glyphs were off-center to the right. I selected them all and adjusted center width on them, which was great, but then when I tried to generate the resulting font into a TTF file, it started throwing a lot of errors. Stuff like 'missing points at extrema', 'there is another glyph in the font with this name', 'wrong direction', 'self intersecting', 'bad glyph name'. I think that's pretty much it--there are a lot of errors--I'd say almost every glyph is incorrect. This doesn't seem like the correct behavior? I did some research, and tried to fix it by adding extrema, using rounded integers, etc., but it just didn't really have any effect on anything.
Here is the output of the command with --debug 2 enabled.
