Welcome to the (Richonguzman / CA2RXU) LoRa_APRS_Tracker wiki!
This tracker firmware is build upon the idea to get all the functionality of the traditional VHF APRS but with a few improvements based on new technology available.
So far this tracker has the ability to:
- Send and Receive Messages and APRS packets.
- Asking for Weather Report.
- Listening for other Trackers near by.
- Changing displayMode to turn of Oled screen or turn off GPS module, both to save battery on certain cases.
- Connect over TNC2 or KISS TNC with Bluetooth to Android Phones and APRSDroid and over BLE with iPhones to use APRS.fi app.
- use 80Mhz as CPU freq, to have lower current consumption.
- All GPS beacons/packet are encoded for less time on RF/LoRa Tx.
Bienvenidos al LoRa_APRS_Tracker Wiki (de Richonguzman / CA2RXU)!
Este firmware del Tracker se ha creado con la principal idea de tener todas las funcionalidades del APRS tradicional (comúnmente por VHF) pero agregando nuevas funcionalidades y mejoras gracias a nuevas tecnologías disponibles.
El Tracker tiene como características:
- Enviar, Recibir mensajes y tramas de APRS.
- Consulta meteorológica (Weather Report).
- Escuchar a otros Trackers cercanos.
- Cambiar en configuración el displayMode para apagar la pantalla Oled o incluso el modulo GPS, todo para ahorro de batería.
- Conectarse por TNC2 o KISS TNC por Bluetooth con Teléfonos Android para la aplicación APRSDroid o por BLE con iPhones y la aplicación sitio APRS.fi
- El uso de una frecuencia de CPU de 80Mhz para bajar aún mas el consumo de energía
- Todas las balizas del GPS son codificados para disminuir tiempo de transición y uso de RF/LoRa.
