Publish all current and future releases to maven central? #47
Comments
I'll release a new version (with no other changes, so a trivial upgrade) on maven central. I have dozens of projects to migrate, so I just can't take the time to deal with older versions. |
Understood, and thanks for your work! If possible, could you also do a 4.0.x version? would appreciated as we're not on metrics 5.x yet. |
No promises, but I'll give it a look. |
5.0.1 should be trickling its way through the mirrors now. |
Any update on getting latest 4.0.x version into Maven Central? While it is great that 5.0.1 is already there, this version depends on Dropwizard Metrics 5.0.0 which is not suitable for consumption by projects that are still consuming Dropwizard Metrics 4.x. |
Probably not any time soon; my to-do list is long. |
The library isn't maintained anymore: palominolabs/metrics-guice#47 (comment) Signed-off-by: Pierre-Alexandre Meyer <[email protected]>
hmm it looks like jcenter now redirects to maven central, and maven central includes many old versions but NOT 4.0.0 https://repo1.maven.org/maven2/com/palominolabs/metrics/metrics-guice/ . I assume you're todo list is still long but is there anything someone else can help with to get 4.0.0 into central? |
I suppose you could backport the build system changes to get it to work on maven central onto a branch at the old tag. |
With bintray/jcenter going away[*], can the latest and future releases of metrics-guice be published to maven central (currently contains 3.2.2 and some but not all older ones)?
Thanks!
