Not a defect but rather something to consider. In UK we have shortage of many occupations. In my local area we did a short "unscientific" survey and found that many of those that test positive were in these occupations. This means that these people isolate for 10 days and are not working. When we look at who is isolating on a 10 day rolling average then we see in UK around 400000 people are isolating at any one time. If we could somehow get figures on this type of thing it may help us understand why we are short or some types of workers in a country. This may help authorities hone in on where the virus is spreading more rapidly and try to bring in measures to prevent it.
