Try rebooting your Mac.

Restarting the computer can indeed solve this problem. Is there such a problem in subsequent updates? I have encountered this problem several times, all triggered by automatic updates, and I have restarted the computer several times.

@shichanglin5 Please share a diagnostic report from Help > Upload Diagnostics immediately after the next update where this happens. (It's too late for this update now.)

When I stop the running container and exit the orbstack, the orbstack cannot be started normally. As shown in the screenshot below, "starting" is always displayed. I have encountered it many times, and it can only be restored by restarting the mac.

It looks like you're running into a rare macOS bug causing OrbStack to freeze on stop. Disabling OrbStack Settings > Network > "Allow access to container domains & IPs" should work around the issue for now.

Is there must restart macos to modify orbstack network settings?

Can this problem be solved optimally in future versions?
