If you'd like to speak, or if there's someone you'd like to hear from, please add their information here.

Ideal posts will include a link to the project and a couple of sentences about why they'd be of interest to the OHBM Open Science community.

For example:

I'd like to recommend you invite Tim van Mourik to speak about the Porcupine project (https://timvanmourik.github.io/Porcupine). It's a really interesting graphical interface tool that makes it easy for people to use nipype pipelines to build their analyses or to reproduce other people's studies. The project was also born at Brainhack Global in 2017 so it's a really fun example of a project that can grow out of a short term collaborative event!

I'd like to recommend you invite Anisha Keshavan (@akeshavan) to speak about democratizing quality control at scale (http://braindr.us). It's one of a set of tools that Anisha has developed to allow individuals at different levels of expertise to support quality control of the many data resources coming online. Anisha, over the years, has morphed herself into solving problems using applications that complement and transcend traditional approaches. It's also a good example of showing how tools can be developed rapidly to help not just an individual but a community, and how input from a community can help shape these tools.

Thanks @satra!! @akeshavan is scheduled to talk on our second call on February 22nd (see #9) ✨ ✨ ✨

Anisha - if this is not the project you're planning to discuss, then I'm sure we can find you another spot in the future for braindr!

Hi, I’d like to recommend you invite @ivotron to speak about Popper, a domain-agnostic convention and CLI tool to aid in the creation of reproducible papers following a DevOps approach. Popper brings best OSS practices to Open Science and Open Data projects in a systematic way.
