intervention/image 3

as you know there are some upgrades for the intervention/image package (3.x.x)
and other packages such as some file managers work with latest version of intervention/image. but this package still works with old version of intervention/image that is not supported anymore.
i wanna know is there any plan to upgrade captcha with new dependencies?
