on a mac - ⌘ + S does not save a page and it is also not the proper term in v2 - it should be publish

Hi there, I guess you are referring to the in-page edit mode. Things are quite different in v2 compared to v1.

Inside the dashboard, changes are saved automatically. Inside the in-page edit mode, hitting save, well, saves the content and closes the editor. There are no shortcuts anymore.

Also saving is not publishing and therefore the wording is correct here. Saving allows for previewing changes in the in-page edit mode.

Saved changes can be published using the publish button in the dock in the in-page edit mode or in the navbar inside the dashboard.
