SOS - help for a beginner

hi, thanks a lot for this work and for making it open source. it's really cool of you.
I'm not a developer at all, I'm more of a system and network administrator. and I'm trying to make a self-hosted personal website. is it possible to do this with project?
If not, what are the files I have to modify to adapt it to what I want to do on my site?
(change the name and add commands for example).

I'm sorry these questions must be super stupid for you haha but again I'm not a developer by any means and far from it. so any info/tricks you can give me are welcome.
