The right click in Google Mail Compose window not working

I have had problems with the Google Mail compose window.
When writing a message Google highlights misspelt words buy putting a red squiggly line underneath it.
However the right click action that gives you option to change the word from the dictionary or add it to the dictionary doesn't work. I have found this addon in Chrome to be the reason as when I disable it the Google right click works. I tried removing google.com from the Options list but it made no difference.
