I'm not sure what you are doing with this line

$chartTemplate = View::make('vnnogile::dash.lavacharts', ['lava' => $lava, "id" => "timely_completion_chart", 'hideNewBtn' => true])->render();

Have you looked at the examples of how to render charts?
