Document how to:

  • Add images via the Netlify CMS image and markdown widgets
  • Customize images from Netlify CMS
  • Add incidental images directly in the code (not via Netlify CMS)

These most likely can be done by looking at existing code and content, but it will be better—especially for new and/or beginner contributors—to have a documentation on hand.

Bad news: That gist is outdated.

Good news: It's even more simple now since Cloudinary has been integrated to Netlify CMS. This issue is mostly to remind myself to update that gist. 😁

Copying and pasting this from here:

We should also add some documentations on how to gain credentials to our content dashboards (e.g. Netlify CMS and Cloudinary), so that no further confusion arises like in #696.

For the time being, as mentioned here by @zainfathoni, the only way to gain these credentials is to ask either of us. And do take note that for security reasons, we only provide these credentials to those who, really, really, really need it.

In summary, we should also document how to properly gain credentials to the dashboards we use.
