version numbers broken on macOS #142

i've downloaded Version '1.20' but when selecting it in the Finder and using 'Get Info' it shows Version '1.2.0'

it would be awesome if you could decide on a single version numbering scheme and stick with it

I prefer 1.20, as is written everywhere I write it. But NPM forces me to use 1.2.0

It's been a real struggle..
