When I found out this existed I wanted to try a sample text from one of my conlangs. Only the first syllable of most of the words was pronounced. Testing a bit more, I realised it was because many of my words had a diphthong in the first syllable and every phoneme in the word after the non-syllabic diacritic was ignored.
And I isolated the problem by using just the first word in the text.
Removing the non-syllabic diacritics resulted in all syllables being pronounced but, obviously, the pronunciation isn't as it's supposed to be in that case. I also realised that the vowels [y] and [ø] don't seem to be supported and they (and everything following them in that word) isn't pronounced.
