This package helps companies analyse their carbon emissions. It works in combination with a free supplementary dataset to estimate your organisation's greenhouse gas emissions from various common business activities such as office use and transportation.
The dataset is currently in private preview and can be requested by emailing [email protected] and providing your Snowflake account ID, including the region.
These are the final models the package produces. There are also some staging and intermediate models not listed here.
You can access the full documentation by running dbt docs generate and then dbt docs serve after following the Getting Started steps below.

Request the supplementary dataset from [email protected]. A set of sample operational data is included, which will allow you to build sample metrics with this package if you're not yet ready to use your own data.
Once the shared database is available in your account, please ensure that the Snowflake role you are using to run dbt has access to read from that database.

By default, this package will use the sample data provided in the shared dataset in Snowflake. To use your own operational data, please change the value of the following variable in the package's dbt_project.yml from sample to customer:

If you don't want to use all the models, you can set enabled=false in the corresponding model configs to disable the models you want to skip.
The data modelling process involves a number of assumptions on the structure and content of typical operational data. Before using your own data, please ensure it contains the fields marked in each model's dbt documentation.
Some of the data used in our models comes with particular values which are used in some JOIN and WHERE statements. For these models to work, you need to make sure your own data is transformed to meet the requirements outlined in Appendix A1. Please bear in mind that currently our joins are case sensitive. We will notify you of any changes to this or to any of the accepted values.
This package is currently only compatible with Snowflake. We hope to roll out wider compatibility soon.
