Home Assistant will update the hass property of the config element on state changes, and the lovelace element, which contains information about the dashboard configuration.

It is difficult to guess, what this paragraph wants to tell. Comma before "and" ? Does is mean the lovelace element will be updated or does it mean it reacts to state changes of the element?

Then it is too unspecific. Which element it is actually talking about?
