The problem

Subject: Feature Request: Bulk Removal of Unavailable Entities automatically and also by button click on HA settings

Dear Home Assistant Development Team,
I'm writing to suggest a feature that would significantly improve the user experience when managing a large number of entities in Home Assistant. Currently, there's no efficient way to remove multiple unavailable entities at once. This can be particularly time-consuming and frustrating when dealing with a large number of devices or integrations that may occasionally become unavailable.
Proposed Solution:
Implement a "Bulk Remove" functionality for unavailable entities. This should be accessible both automatically and through a dedicated button in the Home Assistant Settings > Devices > Entities screen. A "Remove All Unavailable Entities" button would provide a one-click solution to quickly delete all entities that are currently unavailable.
Why this is important:

  • Efficiency: Saves significant time and effort when managing a large number of entities.
  • User Experience: Provides a more streamlined and intuitive user experience.
  • Clarity: Helps maintain a clean and organized entity list.
I believe this feature would be a valuable addition to Home Assistant, enhancing the overall user experience and making it easier to manage complex smart home setups. Thank you for considering this suggestion.
