From mentors:

by consolidating your value proposition and homing in on the competitive advantage of your specific idea. You will further illustrate this by describing an action plan for how your idea can feasibly be implemented in the market.
In collaboration with your group, restate the value proposition of your idea by specifying the aim and focus of your project. you should be able to refine this value proposition, showing how it evolved since you first started exploring the idea at the beginning of the group work process. Your value proposition should be no more than 300 words in total. This is a good opportunity to reduce your idea to an “elevator pitch”. Try to express your idea in less than 120 seconds, in plain language, so that the average non-technical business person can understand it. If you achieve this, it will increase the odds that a senior executive, an investor, or a board of directors will be able to act on your recommendation

Value proposition

The hiring process in companies involves a process of background verification where HR employees have to validate that all the degrees, certifications and job experience mentioned in the candidate’s CV are true.
This process is time consuming and requires a lot of work trying to communicate by phone or email with relevant schools, universities, online teaching platforms (Coursera,Udemy) and companies.
With blockchain technology we can create a shared and encrypted (hashed) database , where all relevant participants can collaborate to make life easier for each others.

Our platform will allow HR employees in these entities to easily use this shared database for background validation and be sure that the data they found is valid and signed by the corresponding entities.

With automated API , entities can share their records of hired employees or graduated students on the blockchain , this info will be hashed and will be meaningless by itself.

When another entity wants to make a background check, it will simply send a query with the candidate details to the platform, this query will be hashed and the platform will look for hashes in the blockchain that match the query’s hash.

In a case of a match, the checking entity will know for sure that the information is valid, and will get the answer in no time, and the involved entities will not be bothered and will not even know that this info was requested in the first place !
HR will be able to do their job more efficiently while keeping the hiring process more confidential!
As relevant entities won’t be notified when a background check is being made, candidates will apply for jobs more freely.
Companies will also save precious interviewing man hours , as now it would be more efficient to background check and filter candidates before interviewing.
