7. HOWTO : Sync files among EPs

ZTM can synchronize files between different devices with the built-in Cloud Mini-App. Before practicing this feature, you can practice this File Sharing Tutorial .

  1. Login to ZTM App console

Usually this step is done by using a browser to access http://localhost:7777/

  1. Open Cloud Mini-App.

In the left menu select “Apps” and then “Cloud”:

  1. Select the “Auto Sync” menu on the directory.

Click to open the “Users” directory, then right click on the current directory of the user (my current user is root) and select “Auto Sync” in the popup menu: !

  1. Set Auto Sync

In the popup window, select the device you want to receive files from, in the example, “cai-iphone”; on the right, select “Download”. In this way, files uploaded by the root user on any device will be synchronized to the root user's phone:

After saving the synchronization configuration, ZTM App will automatically download the files shared from root user's different devices to root user's iphone in the background.

  1. Verify on iPhone

View the synchronized files in the file manager of iPhone:

For the synchronization setup as above, the CLI can also be configured with the “ztm cloud mirror” command, e.g.:
