[How to] Connect with the new procedure

If you use home assistant follow this guide: #779 (comment) otherwise follow this:

1. When you are connected and see 'LOGIN SUCCESSFUL'
2. Open your browser's DevTools by pressing F12 and then the click on the 'Network' tab
3. Hit the final 'OK' button, under 'LOGIN SUCCESSFUL'
4. You should see a line like this

6. In the field "Location" in "Response Header" you should see :
   xxxx://oauth2redirect/<country_code?code=<copy this part>&scope=openid...
   For exemple:
   mymap://oauth2redirect/fr?code=this-is-the-code&scope=openid...
7. Copy the code in the form (eg: this-is-the-code)
8. Click on submit
   If you have trouble try to retry or restart PSACC.

Getting 400 - invalid_grant : The provided access grant is invalid, expired, or revoked. a few times trying this. Maybe because the opel page eventually logs in and "uses" the token before psacc can?

You're supposed to enter the PSA login page with PSACC's URL, which is percent-encoded in the address bar or in the container's logs. It would solve a lot of trouble for people if it opened in newtab.

Hi, I can confirm. It is working in home assistant. I Set up al sensors. And they response. But not always. Often i became a message: Timeout while waiting for response from the server. The sensors became than not available. Is there an option or solution therefore?

Had the same issue, in order to get the code you should still get the URL from the console (if you can attach to the psa container) and once you paste it in another browser you can get the login page, where after submitting your credentials and clicking on Ok you will get the code in a response from the PSA server when having the developers' tool on.
After that you can proceed with OTP request to finalize the access

You're right. I had to use the URL psacc uses (for some reason it doesn't open it in new tab or something) I also had to use a URL percent decoder to get the actual URL. I managed to login now, took a while after the OTP step

Just managed to get mine working again after a couple of days downtime.

Open PSACC, login with username & password. Click submit and then navigate to the second page with the instructions above on. I use HA so navigate to HA logs for PSACC, find the URL that PSACC generated. Remove the % encoding (link for me wouldn't work without it - i used https://www.url-encode-decode.com/.

Navigate to this link, f12, network. The code only appears after logging in and pressing ok, exactly as described above.

So the procedure it's really clear to me. I'm using home assistant. What I try is:

• On the first page enter Opel, email address, password, and BE, press submit
• After about 5 seconds I get: "Success ![ Go to login]"
• I click the go to login button.

I think from there on, something is not clear. There is no way to log in there.

So I try the following:

• open a new tab
• go to https://my.opel.be, and log in there.
• open developer tools, and press the OK button.
• Press the stop logging button, or the the line I need will be removed after a few seconds.

If I copy the code from that into the page, I get: 400 - invalid_grant : The provided access grant is invalid, expired, or revoked.

noticed you are using home assistant - open the addon, in another tab open home assistant, navigate to settings->addons-> PSA CC then logs. When you click 'success go to login' on the addon, the logs will produce a link for you to use (will need to remove %).

The steps confused me but here's it broken down the best I can manage (This is for those of you running Home Assistant OS with this as an Addon).

1. Install the update, run the addon and hit the "Open Web UI" button (Or navigate to it in your sidebar if you have it there)
2. In another tab (for convenience), go open the addon and select "Log" along the top.
3. Go back to the first tab and start the login process (Enter username password, country and hit submit)
4. When the login succeeds, hit the link that appears in the success message to take you to another page (this one has instructions on but seems confusing)
5. Go back to your log tab and hit refresh
6. You'll see a log entry that looks like this "GET /config_connect?url=https://idpcvs.vauxhall.co.uk/am/oauth2/authorize?client_id%3D122f3511-4f74-4a0c-bcda-af2f3b2e3a65%26redirect_uri%3Dmymvxsdk%253A%252F%252Foauth2redirect%252Fgb%26response_type%3Dcode%26scope%3Dopenid%2520profile%26state%3Dxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx%26code_challenge%3Dxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx%26code_challenge_method%3DS256 HTTP/1.1. 9. Fill out your login details and hit log in
10. You should end up on a page with a red button after successful log in. Right click anywhere on the page and press Inspect to get your network tools open (Or open them via your menus)
11. Go to the Network tab
12. Now click the red button and a load of entries should fill the network tab. For me the very last one was https://idpcvs.vauxhall.co.uk/am/oauth2/authorize. I clicked on that and made sure I was set to "headers" and looked down the data until I saw "Location". That should have an entry in it that looks something like mymvxsdk://oauth2redirect/gb?code=xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx&scope=openid%20profile&state=xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx.
13. Copy the bit after code= and before &scope. So just the actual code in the code part.
14. Switch back to your addon tab and paste the code in the box as requested and hit submit
15. You should get a message prompting you to go finish the OTP flow, which should be familiar to you by now.

Hope this helps some of the less technically minded people. I'm not sure if there was a simpler way but this was the flow that worked for me running this addon in Home Assistant OS on a Raspberry Pi.

4. now this is the bit it took me a while on - you NOW open up developer tools and look at "Network". Press the button on the page, and you should now see the "authorize" network tag, which will have the code=xxxx value

I did a lot of tries and I am still not able to find the code.
The best I found is into the screenshot. The code is too long assert len(code) == 36, "Invalid code length"

Thats the mistake I made. Its not actually on that page. Clear that history, and then press "OK". The URL with the code=xxxx value is on the last page (not the one right after logging in). I spent a good hour looking through those logs - then finally worked this out!

The entire procedure was successful. Nice work! Just not the last part. "Enter your PIN code. The current myPeugeot app on my phone does not ask for a PIN code either. This used to be the case. The PIN code box on the form in the home assistant is left empty later also does not give the desired result. (Country: NL) The app only asks for login email and password. App version is v.1.44.2
How to solve this?

do you have to enter a PIN code in the original PSA app? I should have entered this once, but I am never offered it when I register again. This is because PIN is necessary in the workaround. For me he doesn't take the PIN. So I can't get any further.

After the last update I did a simple OTP again and checked the logs, no more error.
I then checked the config.json file in the container and the refresh token was indeed filled, seems like this solved it for me.

For me, just waiting a few days did the same, out of nowhere suddenly the Stellantis backend severs started providing missing data like SoH in my case. So I wonder how many of those who reported this procedure has fixed things just would have seen the same if they would have done just nothing. :-)

Some weeks aga I had installelled 3.4.1 (?) aas AddOn in HA. All works fine. Later I didn't install 3.5.0 and stopped any Updates.

Suddenly PSACC stopped working with comment to install 3.5.1. Id did not install and wait a few days to see to see, if there is a new update.

Now I tried to update. After Update and restart HA an waiting, PSACC ssems to work: the Symbolis green! After open the WebUI I see a Popup "The AddOn is not running ... start". After that I get the message "502 Bad gateway" and the Log shows

Make sure after logging in that you click the button. This is where I got caught out. The code value isn't passed in until you click the button (after a successful login). Its very confusing! I spent literally hours searching for it, and then randomly click the button and saw it!

I was in contact with Opel today and I can confirm the following:

• They changed their licensing model and the e-Remote Control feature is no longer for free. You get just a 6month test period.
• After the 6 months the e-Remote Control is no longer available
• You need to purchase the so called Connect Plus subscription which includes e-Remote Control and Live Navigation service, which is 12€ / month.
• I wrote them that on their page https://connect.opel.de/store/e-remote-control they still promote the service for free lifetime. It's true that further below the page they say that Connect Plus is including e-Remote Control, but the page does not say that e-Remote control is no longer for free.

This is clearly a marketing mess and I will involve my advocate to fight for it, as it is totally missleading communication.

I can really not advertise Opel anymore as this practice is just bullshitting with customers. They force you into an expensive subscription model (12€ / month is crazy) for a service which should be standard these days.

Clearly my very last Opel.

Seit dem Update auf 0.130.x bekomme ich für unseren Citroen eC4 die Meldung "Token expired", ohne dass ich etwas geändert hätte. Ich habe dann versucht auf der Konsole (evcc läuft bei mir auf einem RasPi) mittels "evcc token [name]" gemäß Anleitung einen neuen Token zu erzeugen. Das hat augenscheinlich auch alles geklappt (Token aus den Dev-Tools von Firefox kopiert, etc.) und ich bekomme auf der Konsole den accesstoken und refreshtoken ausgeworfen. Wenn ich die in der evcc.yaml einfüge und evcc neu starte bekomme ich aber weiterhin die Meldung "Token expired". Was läuft da falsch?

Can anyone tell me why I am not receiving the SMS to complete the login in HA?
I do everything as described and I always get stuck at this step.

After installing Adon in HA, I go to User Config where everything goes well and I go to Login which takes me to Connection PSA "My Peugeot" then with the authorization code successfully entered I go to Config OTP and at this point I click on send SMS but I never receive the SMS, can anyone help me?

Unfortunately, it loses the connection regularly (every 4-8 weeks) and I then have to authenticate myself again. Unfortunately, that didn't work today. There is no error message when entering the code. Is there a solution for this?

The system is being weird full stop atm. I can't get any SOC updates since yesterday. Even using their own app! Not sure if its just my car, or the whole system though

@stefankoehne It seems that for that issue from your screens shot in my case HA reboot solved isuue, probably addon restart will also help.

seems like it was temporary. OTP worked again now. Let's see how long it lasts this time.
