This is a request to add PODC (https://dblp.uni-trier.de/db/conf/podc/index.html), which is the flagship conference for distributed computing. There are very strong people working in the field who also publish regularly at STOC, for example. AFAIAW it should be about as prestigious as SODA.

PODC has a CORE A* rating (http://portal.core.edu.au/conf-ranks/63/).

This is a duplicate of #423 but should be considered anew given that PODC is both under SIGACT and SIGOPS.
