Ubuntu: App takes a very long time to fully start

Expected behavior

app shouldn't stay loading for so long

Actual behavior

Starts up quickly in dev mode but in prod the app stays in the loading state for 15s

Steps to reproduce

1. clone https://github.com/hichemfantar/my-new-electron-app
2. run .deb build
3. install app
4. open app

Additional information

testing machine specs:

RAM: 15.4 GiB
CPU: Intel® Core™ i5-10500H CPU @ 2.50GHz × 12

vscode and postman which are both electron apps load instantly
