This is Clio, a web-based system for maintaining (meta-)information on software components.
Everyone is welcome to participate and contribute to the project.
For the summer of 2018, Gopalakrishnan V (@gopuvenkat) was selected for GSoC and will work on implementing basic Clio functionality.
The Clio code is licensed under GPL-3.0-or-later.
The complete text of the license is in the file named LICENSE
on the top-level directory.

may also be present in this repository.
All the licenses are collected in the top-level directory Licenses.
There is no copyright assignement, nor a Contributor License Agreement (CLA) for participating on this project. Each contriburor maintains authorship of their code.

We try to follow the reuse.software guidelines (with some minor changes).
Top-level directories include src for actual sources,
and doc for documentation.
We use a variety of means for communicating.
Obviously a lot is happening via discussion on the issues and pull requests.
For more real-time collaboration, we use a dedicated zulip at http://clio.zulipchat.com.
