  1. From the client machine JOINED to the domain

    • If the proxy is set as IP address - NTLM shall be used, show it with screenshots of Traffic Monitor auth package
    • If the proxy is set as FQDN - Kerberos shall be used, show it with screenshots of Traffic Monitor auth package and klist command

  2. From the client machine NOT joined to the domain

    • If the proxy is set as IP address - NTLM may be used??? need to experiment
    • If the proxy is set as FQDN - Kerberos will always fail because client cannot get the Kerberos ticket because client is NOT part of the domain

  3. From the server machine where proxy is installed?

    • any errors if we set as IP or FQDN - need to test
