After installing the new updated launcher from Microsoft/Mojang and logging int, follow the instructions below to create a new profile to use with truecraft.
- Click the "Launch Options" tab. If the "Launch Options" is not showing, click the Menu icon (The one with the three bars)
- Click the "Add new" button
- Name your profile something you will remember.
- Click the Dropdown box and scroll down to the "old_beta" section and select "old_beta b1.7.3"
- Click the "Save" button
- Click the Minecraft button at the top or the "News" tab
- Use the arrow next to the current profile to select the profile you just created
- Click "Play" and enjoy!
After downloading and installing Minecraft, follow the instructions below to create a profile and to select the correct Minecraft Version number that will work with TrueCraft
- Click 'New Profile' in the bottom left hand corner of the Minecraft Launcher
- Name it something memorable (TrueCraft)
- Untick 'Automatically ask Mojang for assistance with fixing crashes'
- Tick 'Allow use of old "Beta" Minecraft versions (from 2010 - 2011)'
- Click 'Yes' on the dialog that pops up
- In the 'Use Version' dropdown, select the following entry: "old_beta b1.7.3" (selecting a different version will lead to errors!)
- Click 'Save Profile'
Now use this profile to run version b1.7.3 of Minecraft!
