It should work in theory, but we have a lot of dependencies, so it's not easy. Here go all findings on compilation for windows.

Make CMake find boost:

  • install boost binaries for your platform from here

  • in CMake, set BOOST_ROOT to the path to your boost installation, e.g.

    BOOST_ROOT=c:/boost_1_58_0

  • in CMake, set BOOST_LIBRARYDIR to the path to your platform libraries in BOOST_ROOT, e.g.

    BOOST_LIBRARYDIR=c:/boost_1_58_0/lib64-msvc-12.0
