To be explored, as @nriss and @BPierrick suggested to me the FHIR ressource narrative could be very valuable in order to better understand a ressource displayed (rather than just reading the whole payload).

As a reminder, there are 2 types of ressources in our app

  • the Patient
  • other FHIR ressources related to this Patient

For info: attributes placed in narrative is marked as isSummary in the ElementDefinition.

The narrative doesn't seem to be present every time, we should see HAPI params

What about security then?

We're basically displaying HTML code from resource attribute string value, and this raises some security questions.

I'm not a specialist, but we should consider it if we execute this 'code' ?

I was thinking of using this package to "validate" the HTML string : https://github.com/cure53/DOMPurify
