A few survey respondents noted they would like to be able to create grade categories. I'm not really sure what the use case for this is, and it seems pretty difficult for low payoff. This could simply be closed as a wontfix.

The use case would be in a weighted gradebook, but I agree the utility seems minimal. Especially since grade edits are ephemeral and added assignments don't have names, this seems dubiously useful.

In my district, all classes have weights but the weights are only on PowerSchool, not Schoology. Unless there's an addon for PowerSchool, what-if grades are not accurate.
