Display is blank with nougat+4.9 kernel

I am trying to bringup rpi with naugat+4.9 kernel. I am getting following binder errors when i tried.

I am able to do this with naugat+4.4 kernel. What could be the issue with 4.9? Does anyone tried this? Is broadcom driver is blocking something? I tried many ways but of no use. Any help would be grateful.
