I have many categories in my budget that are fixed costs (either paid monthly or broken down to monthly savings for e.g. yearly payments). These are e.g. vehicle leasing, mobile phone, ...
Those categories need to have the same budget every month. Other categories like the fun budget can be changed around every month depending on the available income. Right now it is hard do differentiate them on the first glance since both types of categories are mixed due to the grouping in MoneyMoney.
I would like to somehow differentiate those types of categories. This could be as simple as a different row background color but I could also imagine another sort order in BudgetBudget where the fixed budget ones are put into one group. The budgeting for the fixed category can be automated through the feature proposed in #45.

In the long run it might make sense to support manual sorting/hiding of categories in BB since the requirements might differ between MM and BB (as you've described and also for #53).
Would it fit your need if you could create a BB-only folder and move your fixed-cost categories in there?
Manual sorting and hiding in BB definitely would make sense. If it would be possible to create a separate group/folder in BB and move my fixed-cost categories into it independently from the grouping in MM this would solve my use-case.
