Thank you for reporting this.
This issue has been resolved in commit e0f7a47.

To work around it in version 2.16.44, you can:

Uncheck View → Tab Bar → On Title Bar.
Align the top position of the secondary monitor with the main monitor.

You can download the updated executable reflecting this fix from the link below.

Hi @sdottaka

When I deselect "view Tab Bar", it becomes impossible to switch back to folder diff from where I opened one of the (same name) file in both pane which had the differences.

How do I switch back from MainTask.C to Application\ (which is visible when not using fill screen view)?

Unable to use the received WinMerge in the Zip file:

I've installed the x64 version. hence copied received WinZip filder to C:\Program Files, but it still throws error and Windows Defender pops up

You can switch windows by pressing Ctrl+Tab.

I've installed the x64 version. hence copied received WinZip filder to C:\Program Files, but it still throws error and Windows Defender pops up

This may be because the executable files in the zip file are not digitally signed.
Please wait for the next release.
