Official Instance

Describe the bug

Hello,

I have just installed Piped on Portainer/Synology following the 1:1 steps from this blog: https://mariushosting.com/how-to-install-piped-on-your-synology-nas/.

Piped starts up, and all instances show as "healthy". However, the homepage (Trending) doesn't load any videos, nothing appears in search results, and I am unable to register a new user. After entering a username and password and clicking "register", nothing happens.
Also see no errors in Logs.
It seems like it doesn't have a connection to YouTube? Could you help me with this? I'd really appreciate it.

Thanks!

To Reproduce

Encountered the same issue today on my locally setup Piped instance, seems it is due to failing CORS requests. Make sure SSL is enabled everywhere (Piped virtually forces you to use SSL, unfortunately) and install the self-signed certificate onto your device, also post your browser's console logs.
