I have a set of vertically stacked travel anchors, some on main floors, and some on cable basement levels just a few blocks below.
When teleporting horizontally between various sets of travel anchors around my base, I don't want the cable-basement-level anchors to appear, as it would clutter everything, so I set them to not be visible.
Doing so breaks their vertical elevator functionality. I can teleport away from those anchors, but I cannot teleport to them via jump/crouch.
This makes them not particularly useful.
Expected Behavior
I expected them to continue to function as an elevator block when set to not visible, so I could descend into the basement when I am standing above them, but otherwise not have them appear as an option to teleport to when looking around from other travel anchors.
In essence, I expected toggling visible to ONLY make them not visible. Instead, toggling visibility prevents any vertical teleportation TO these anchors, and only allows teleportation away from the anchors.
How to Test
Place two travel anchors, one some number of blocks directly above or below the other
Toggle the lower one to be not visible
Stand on the lower anchor
Jump
You will be teleported upwards to the higher-level travel anchor
Crouch
You will NOT be teleported down to the lower-level anchor <-- this is bad
This is a fairly simple change to make, but I wonder if there's anyone that relies on the way it currently works. Maybe a way to force teleportation to disabled anchors would be useful.
Either another checkbox in the UI or just fixing the behavior would be great, it seemed to me it should be possible, and I believe that was how it worked in past iterations of EnderIO -- although I've been playing for a decade so memory is a little fuzzy around what versions were when, but I had the expectation it would work and then it didn't, and I believe I've configured it like this in previous editions and it worked then.
I can't immediately envision a scenario where the current behavior (not allowing vertical teleportation to hidden anchors) would be desired, but I guess I also can't rule it out.
Is there an existing issue for this?
