Feature Description

Language selection menu needs to be larger, aim to have as many languages in view as possible to minimise scrolling
Flags need to be removed from menu
image

Why is this feature valuable?

Due to the global nature of the project flags representing languages can be considered inappropriate. Increasing the size of the language select box will mitigate reduced "At a glance" readability caused by removing the flags.

Suggested Implementation

Quite a good guide here
https://www.flagsarenotlanguages.com/blog/best-practice-for-presenting-languages/

Increase the width of the selection box, present languages in rows not just one long list, apply responsive design to ensure usability on resized windows/mobile
