[Bug] Updating scoop fails with error setting certificate file on Windows

Bug Report

Current Behavior

Whenever I try to update scoop, and most apps with scoop, I get an error saying: "fatal: unable to access 'https://github.com/ScoopInstaller/Scoop/': error setting certificate file: /usr/ssl/certs/ca-bundle.crt".

Expected Behavior

Scoop (and it's apps) should update normally, without any error.

Additional context/output

This is odd because I am on Windows, so this path couldn't exist even if I tried to make it. Maybe it's a WSL thing? I also used to have msys2 installed, so maybe that's causing the issue?

This looks like a problem with your Git installation. Are you able to use other git repositories on your machine normally?

git config --global http.sslBackend schannel
